were talking about! Then I picked up AS Level and A Level Accounting and it was a small line in the preface that caught my eye 'this book is written for students of accounting who face problems by asking how do I do this?' As this is how I felt I read on.
The book separated in to three chapters each of which as a number of subsections Contents (sorry about the long list but it gives a grasp of what can be learnt.)
1. The Accounting System
a. Double Entry Bookkeeping: cash transaction
b. Double Entry Bookkeeping: credit transactions
c. Books of prime (or original) entry
d. Balancing accounts
e. The classification of accounts and diversion of the ledger
f. The trial balance
2. FinancialAccounting

c. Accounting principles or concepts

is more important and what cuts you can make first. AND you still get the higher rate tax free on the 'savings' in the account.
Again this account is for smart people and smart money, I will advise the 'moaners and groaners' out there to stay away and not to annoy the call handlers just before I get through requiring sensible help. Take my word for it, Moneysavingexpert.com 's word for it, trendy house buying magazines word for it and your financial advisers word for it (if you can trust them to be 'independent'?.yeah right!!!) and save yourself loads of money and own your house as quickly as you can pay for it.
