Rubbish outfit who cannot find an external meter cabinet then expect you to ring them to make an appointment because their staff are useless at doing their job. Pay peanuts and you get monkeys.

My experience is that they are quite impatient. They tend to knock on the door and literally start to fill in cards saying they have attended as they wait.
I also find it strange ... ...though I have a pre-payment card. I wonder if they don't believe me or if they are checking to see whether I'm fiddling the supply?
Generally, they are no less efficient then when British gas came around they are just less patient. This is more a reflection of changes in society, they are not particularly well paid and both the falling standards in literacy and numeracy brought on by the over reliance on simple technology doesn't help.
