Ace Card & Gifts is based in Preston Lancashire
Its a mail order organisation dealing in mailly "trinkets" and non essential presents.
My wife has dealt with this company on a few occasions.
This company lost a cheque for £31
Despite copies of cheque and statement been sent [which had to be paid for] been sent they insited on adding monthly charges.
It is virtually impossible to talk to anyone in any sort of authority within the company and their administration is one of the worst I have ever experienced.
They keep quoting "company policy" and none of it is to the advantage of the customer.
If for whatever reason an account is not cleared they add "addmistration charges" to accounts
According to a letter in the Times a few weeks ago this is normal practice!!!!!
One accepts that in any large organisation that things do go wrong but at the very least one expects an admission when an error does occur and recompense for any expenses incurred to correct a mistake not of your making!
They refused to refund the costs incured.
Deal with thiscompany at your peril.
