Had an Avondale for 12 years absolutely brilliant and solid.
In 2003 I traded it in for a brand new Ace Jubilee Globetrotter.
Before we had even left the dealership a front window was half full of water, then my wife opened an overhead locker which came off in her hand. These were rectified by the dealer but I ended up using a resin glue to really fix the locker properly.Next , the bathroom floor was getting wet after using the shower, turned out to be a faulty connection on the shower mixer.fixed it myself again.
The end of the lower bunk bed came away, yet more resin glue.
The gas heater worked loose so another DIY fix on holiday.
The water heater controls are buried under a seat, so I relocated them for ease of use and are now easily viewed to see if it is on.
All in all build quality needs to be looked at.
Ergonomically the controls for the Truma water heater and blown air heating should be better located.
