Advantages: Better than the competition Disadvantages: Not 100% effective on all stains
...blue coloured, surprisingly neutral smelling Ace and then poured it over the offending greasy mark, and then gave it a bit of a rub, not sure why....for luck perhaps! I left it to work it's magic for about 20 minutes and then put it in a normal 40 degree wash with other dirty clothes. The makers recommend different times for different materials, so make sure you read the instructions careully. I would advise you test the product out on a small part ... ...aren't confident the bleach won't damage it, in the same way you would carry out a patch test with a hair dye. I wasn't hopeful, but when the wash finished I had to double check that I was not looking at the back of the top because the front was totally stain free. There was no offending smell left or any pigment from the colour in the dye also. You can also use the product direct in your washing machine drawer if none of the stains are bad enough ...

Advantages: great for stains, safe, doesn't harm your clothes or your skin Disadvantages: none
...bleach for your laundry named Ace was invented and my mum used to use it at home. Now I don't live at home and do my own and my man's laundry I forgot about this bleach and my mum mentioned it to me a couple of weeks ago on the phone and I decided to try it. I went to Tesco's and picked up a 1.5 litre bottle for £1.79 and put it in the cupboard.
The next day I needed to use it as my man got a bit of curry on his jeans and I got some on my top so ... ...them. Not anymore though because Ace bleach has come to save the day.
Also an ideal purchase if you have children. It is reasonable in price and I guess if used every day, which is unlikely, unless your a laundry fanatic I estimate it would last about 2 weeks. It is reasonable in price and could just save you that item of clothing that you just thought about throwing away cos it was ruined.
I don't always believe these adverts as they say it works ...

Advantages: Excellent on whites and difficult stains Disadvantages: fairly expensive compared to ordinary bleach
...a few years back when ACE appeared on our screens with the usual low budget, yet high profile adverts I was frantic to get my hands on a bottle of this miracle stuff.
So there we were again on the cleaning aisles of Tesco’s spending my usual 15 minutes there searching and sniffing for all the new products, I was up and down and round about looking for the ACE. Most disappointed that I could not find this product I asked for assistance and ... ...ACE comes in 1-litre bottles and I am not sure if they do larger as I have always stuck to just 1-litre.
So what is ACE?
ACE is safe bleach for all you’re washing needs and is even approved by United Colors of Benetton and Woolmark an accolade not even achieved by many of our daily laundry cleaners!
It is unlike our usual bleach that it is blue in colour, it also has a pleasant floral fragrance which in itself is a vast improvement from ...

Advantages: Cheap, doesn't smell unpleasant! Disadvantages: doesn't have a handy pouring spout for pre-treating
...(this includes a capful of ace striaght in the machine on a 95deg wash) its all so much easier.
Let me begin by telling you a little bit about the product:
Ace Bleach, now called Ace gentle stain remover is a reliable product without costing a fortune like many other brands - i usually buy mine in wilknisons or teso for £1.69 per 1L bottle.
It is in a tall green bottle with handle as part of the bottle (similar to a plastic milk bottle) with a ... ...out 1 cup (100ml) of Ace into the cap of bottle and pour directly onto laundry, begin wash cycle immediately. This is for light and general averyday stains, also to be used like this on heavier soiling on a hotter wash.
*Handwashing - Add 100ml of Ace plus your usual detergent to 10L of water, add garments to be washed and soak for up to 1hour, rinse thoroughly.
*Pre-wash treatment - Pour neat liquid onto the stained area - do not use neat on metallic ...

...stains over them. Having seen Ace laundry bleach advertised I gave it a go - nothing to lose. You can either add it to your machine wash or add it to your hand wash. Hand washed the whites and was amazed at how easily it got rid of the blue stains. They disappeared almost immediately. Bottle says it is safe for all fabrics / wool and is also colour safe. Great find and got me out of trouble with the wife, can't be bad.. ...
