But due to the budget, I went for the Acer 1717As. It proved to be the best I could have got for the price. No complications, light weight, Easy to use, Good quality, Good resolution, and everything what I was looking for. The only drawback being its looks. When compared with samsung etc, it looks kinda old but who cares. What matters is the quality.
Its got built in speakers which are not that great but ... ...a menu button and a power button. The menu has all the options like contrast, brightness, alignment options, 3 predefined profiles , 8 language options and reset.
The packing comes in a convinient and easy to carry box. The packing comes with the power wire, its detatchable stand, audio wire, and seperate VGA connection wire. The monitor can be tilted to a span of about 15 degrees backwards. The setting up is very easy, just ...

Having looked at buying a flat screen for my PC I came across this cheap monitor in Argos for a bargain price of £129 almost a year ago. My husband and I both bought one each. One of them had a red line on the screen on first use but was quickly exchanged at Argos. this acers just like the travelmate 6292 302 as it has all the same specs apart from this one only runs at 1.8 GHz processor speed whereas the newer 6292 302 runs at 2ghz speed.
