This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be able to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. Unfortunately it contributes significantly to global warming.

...previous experience with setting up ACER laptops and I always admired their screens, now it is possible they are different than this one, but I was willing to take the chance.
Now, I ordered mine through a friend, and I was able to get it slightly under retail but I would have gladly paid £200 for this monitor, as it is a dream to work with. Let me start by saying to be honest I would have described it as a 17" monitor with a widescreen aspect (if ... ...a few 19" screens I have seen, but as it is 19" wide then I guess that's the way they can market it. When it arrived, as mentioned already, it was a breeze to set up, but I would remind anybody else to remember to remove your old monitor drivers and set the windows resolution down to default BEFORE you plug this in. as my old one was set too high, and I had to go into safe mode and change it back before I could get it to work in XP. So with my mind ... ...www.dabs.co.uk I was seeing the Acer standing out from all the rest of the 19" screens on 2 major points (1) its widescreen and (2) the excellent price.
Even though I trust both overclockers and dabs they couldn't touch the price I got from www.ebuyer.com of £179.76 and that was with VAT and delivery. Id just sold my old TFT screen second hand and as you can imagine this didn't cost me very much on top of that

as an owner of this monitor, i can say that it is the best monitor i have, it has a large resolution for games and sites, and it has a fast refresh rate. it also corrects the screen so you don't have to!
when installing the monitor, there is no need for looking at the manual, since all you have to do (for my monitor) is just plug in the monitor to your PC/Mac change the screen display on the computer to 1440x900, press the auto button on the monitor ... ...computer. you don't even need to be an expert in computers to fit this monitor in
the only problems are that it's not high definition and when the screen wants to refresh itself, it blacks out for a bit and takes a little while to correct the screen ...

this acers just like the travelmate 6292 302 as it has all the same specs apart from this one only runs at 1.8 GHz processor speed whereas the newer 6292 302 runs at 2ghz speed.
