I have had this pc now for about 3 months. I got it just before christmas off my boyfriend so i could do some home study work. Have not actually got round to doing any home study work just yet, been busy lol.
The price He paid for the tower, Mouse, Keyboard, Printer and Flat screen monitor was £289.99 before VAT. He got a special deal but im sure there around that price now anyway. I have seen the package minus the monitor for £259 ... ...i think thats not a bad price anyway. Specially seen as a year ago a pc like this would have prob cost £1000.
The tower comes with Intel Celeron D 3.06 GHz processor which for the price is very good. also comes with 512 MB of DDR II SDRAM memory. The Core system it comes with is microsoft xp pro, which lets face it is standard these days, although it is a very good operating system. you expect nothing else from Microsoft though do ... more

The Core system it comes with is microsoft xp pro, which lets face it is standard these days, although it is a very good operating system. you expect nothing else from Microsoft though do you. it is Windows Vista Capable though, so if you wanted to upgrade in the future you can.
comes with a huge 80gb harddrive. I remember a few years ago when i had a 2gb harddrive, wow we really didnt know how much we needed the internet back then did we lol.
also comes with a dvd-rom drive, sound card and a standard video card.
The monitor that came with it is a nice flat screen one so it takes less space on the computer desk. The monitor came packed in a sturdy cardboard box with handles on the top. Bit of packaging in side to stop the monitor from getting damaged. This monitor is slimlined but also uses alot less power then a normal monitor does. So electric bill is not increased massively with the pc on. supports a resolution of 1440X900 so is great for watching Widescreen DVDs. There wasnt any need for installation cd niether. just plug and play.
The tower itself is quite stylish and small to. The mouse that came with it is not a wireless one but at least its an optical one. The keyboard is fairly smart to with quite touch keys. The tower, keyboard and mouse all came in one box, which was sturdy and packed well.
With my old pc it took ages loading up but this one takes about 15 secs to load up from switch on. Very fast. It might have been because I had viruses on the old one who knows lol. I never had a firewall or anti virus software on the last one, made sure I had it on this one though. Dont want to own 2 slow pcs. Nortons for me thanks lol
So i would recommend this pc to anyone using a pc at home or even in a small office. It has everything you need really. And its fairly quick to.
