Advantages: So simple to use
Disadvantages: Only thing to spring to mind is the internal fan is noisy

...A good laptop at a great price it was a second choice at first i bought a dell but when it arrived it had many faults Dell expected me to send it back for repair but i got my Brass back The Acer is far better a nice bright screen loads of memory & ram on down side internal mike is very poor but it has a nice keyboard It is nice to handle not to heavy its pretty slick looking in fact almost as good as dolly bird But i am sure this lap top performs much better than any dolly bird I did a lot of research before I bought and although as it turned out the Acer was second choice it turned out in the end to be the best choice With so many lap tops available i think for the money this Acer is without doubt one of the best lap tops around... Advantages: Price, Performance
Disadvantages: Single Core

...(most applications are single threaded) against even the newest processors. A good example where this chip is almost no worse than todays processors is in games which are almost exclusively (bar about 3) single threaded. This means that dual core processors can only utilise one of the cores anyway and gain no benefit from having the second core. For building a budget gaming pc this chip is phenominal value. As a rough comparison, this opteron at 3Ghz completes Super PI to 1 million places in around 25 seconds and the fastest current AM2 chip (the FX62) completes it in around the same time (although it does have 2 cores but costs around 600 pounds). Of course, in purchasing this chip you are buying into old technology but if cutting edge performance is not top on the list but getting great performance from little outlay is... Read review
