Advantages: Quick, good form factor, all in one functionality Disadvantages: Bulky, not a solid feel, driver support can be a little slow
...As a long time Acer fan, it is good to know that Acer continue to produce excellent value, no nonsense PCs that have both innovation and performance.
The Aspire series continues that line, with an overall good package of functionality, performance and aesthetics.
This is a good solution for those of you who want grunt, without the need for constant mobile agility. It is more than adequate for most uses, but will suffer slightly in the "games machine" stakes compared to some of the other high end machines out there. Nevertheless, you cannot complain too much when you factor in the price.
Reliability is generally good, Acer support is efficient, provided you have done your part in registering promptly and having all your details on hand.
All in all, a worthy investment....

Advantages: Light, Fast and Big Screen Disadvantages: Not terrfic Battery Power
...The Aspire series have always been a good choice for me. Light, fast, and powerfull, Acer have pulled out all the stops in making this cheap, fast and reliable.
The Aspire 3502 series is definately NOT an exception. Boasting a 1.4GHz low-heat processor, 512mb RAM, a 40GB hard drive, and a hell of a lot of extras on-disc, the 3502 is a fast, zippy machine definately worth the £500 I bought it for.
The big, spaced-out keyboard offers a good amount of room for the touchpad, and the keys are spaced out well. Also, the 15.4" screen boasts a great ability for watching movies, and alongside with the Intel Celeron M, it is a brilliant machine for any buyer.
One thing that is a downside, the hard drive space. Acer kindly split the HD into 2 parts, one for the operating system, and one for data. Called "ACER" (the C drive) and "ACERDATA" (the...

Advantages: Widescreen, Slim Disadvantages: Battery Life
...I bought this AcerAspire with 2GHz processor, 512 RAM and 60GB Hard drive from Ebuyer for £299.99 plus £10.57 carriage less £10.00 discount for using Google checkout, making a fantastic bargain price of £300.56 delivered next day.
The laptop was ordered 6pm Thursday evening and I received it 12.30pm Friday - delivery in less than 24 hours!
The laptop itself is excellent for the price, it came pre-installed with Windows Vista Home with the choice to upgrade. The screen is crystal clear and the width is an ideal size. The laptop is quite slim in depth and average in weight compared to other laptops of the same spec.
Although my only disappointment was there is no Office applications such as word and excel or anything similar. I have now installed Office 2007 and I am more than happy with my bargain laptop!...

I bought mine on ebay for £360, I needed it for university study and it's working really well for small documents like word and excel and it will also play some games well, mainly Unreal Tournament online :-)
The disk space of 60GB is plenty for me.... more
I for one, absolutely love the look of this acer. The bottom of the laptop just looks really cool, and the top looks ok too. One only criticism on the look, would be that the plastic at the tip of the screen is a little thick, but then again it does have more
