I've had my Acer Aspire for about a year now, and desperately need to upgrade. Although I have gotten a lot of use from this computer, I have also had a lot of problems with it. The main problems I have had involve the lack of available memory, and that it crashes too often. This could be due in part to not having adequate memory for all of the applications I use, but this is not the entire problem. There are times when I have nothing open except explorer or notepad and it will still freeze up on me or worse. It may be adequate for a beginner, but is definitely not what I need. It is much too slow and has inadequater memory.
For the price its ok, nothing special (iv seen some going for about $1699). Lacks tremendously with grapgics. Though Acer do have style on their style but that wont keep you up with market if you buy one.

(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors,dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
