(+) Looks good. Battery life around 4 hours. Keeps your legs warm on cold days! (-) Audio crackle. Gets too hot. Screen viewing angle restrictive. Slow to start.

Advantages: Bigger viewable screen Disadvantages: Battery life a bit short
...Latest laptop from acer featuring a 17 inch screen suitable for all people using large applications like photoshop and corel draw and windows xp home edition mainly those with heavy workloads. This acer laptop features an impressive 3.06ghzp4 which will handle anything in these days.
Another interesting feature that acer has come up with is the 6 in 1 card reader built on the acer laptop. This is a very inetresting thing for everyone as it can back up 20 times more than a standard floppy and your data will be much saver.
Acer is one of the first companys to come up with a 17 inch screen, the laptop itself is a bit heavy due to the larger screen but a pleasent to have and to work on as my friend has one....

Advantages: Full size comonents, Large Screen, Large HDD Disadvantages: Acer after sales service
...Let me start by saying I give credit where credit is due and likewise warn people when I come up against inferior products or service.
Lets start with the laptop.
Fantastic machine, takes standard 3.5" HDD's (which means you can put up to 500GB in if you so desire), standard RAM not expensive laptop RAM. Has a full 128MB video card (which although dated now still performs well for a laptop) and a great 1280x1024 17" screen.
The laptop is very heavy but this is a price you pay for having full size components and to be honest this is more of a desktop replacement than a laptop.
Acer has now discontinued this model of laptop so you will only be able to purchase this second hand, now this is where the big problem occurs.
My laptop started to have issues with overheating when Hyper threading was enabled and then the DVD-RW stopped...

Advantages: Fast, Sexy, Good value for money. Disadvantages: No software, battery life.
...Hello, and welcome to my review of the AcerAspire 1672LMi. This laptop is one of the best laptops I have personally experienced as it is one of the best on good value for money. Ok, so the speed of this laptop is unbeleivable, 3.0Ghz, which even runs Half Life 2, ( one of the most challenging games for a pc's hardware ). Even though this laptop only has 64MB of graphics memory, it still runs all of my games and displays a good image quality. The DVD drive gives me the ability to watch all of my DVD's on the screen, so I can take them with me and watch them wherever. The 15.4" Screen doesnt do any harm either with it fitting in wherever, rucksacks, briefcases, anywhere you want to put it, it will probably fit in there! The 60GB hard drive is great for storing programs, music, documents, and even full movies.
I give this laptop...
