Hi All. Just picked one of these up a few days ago. We got the T5450 version on offer at £399. We wanted an ultra portable rather than a desktop replacement, and you don't see many at that price. It isn't the lightest ultra portable around at 2kg, but the bigger screen models that we were looking at were more like 2.5-2.7kg. Anyway, value wise I'd say you'd be hard pressed to beat this spec for the price. For running office apps etc it's not leaving me feeling like i'm waiting around for it at all. It's our first laptop and unless you specifically buy a gaming laptop, you may as well forget about games, onboard graphics just aren't up to it. Battery life seems ok at 2.5 to 3 hrs of real use. The Acer software seems easy to use and useful. I read in a review that the keyboard area looks like a kids toy, I think that's a bit harsh but i can see what they mean. Funny to think a few years ago you'd struggle to get a laptop with a screen bigger than 14", and now you pay a premium to get one with a screen smaller than 14"! Anyway, overall very pleased and would recommend.

(+) positive aspects include the speed, apperance/design of the laptop, and the enhanced performance. (-) i have a matt black laptop and it shows dirty finger prints.
