I have used this laptop for 1 year and maybe I have used it too often since I dont have another computer so I am having a little problem with the laptop, like the battery go off really fast if it's not adapted and maybe within 2 min will it turn off other then that I think it's a good laptop to use and it's not too heavy thats 3 kg. I dont like to bring it with me everywhere because it's still heavy to carry it around to school or work. It's Vista Iam using with this and was really excited at first because it was new and heard about the new function they have, although it was not so good as I thought and was not used to it at first... but it's getting better now after using it a while.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors,dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
Welcome to Ciao! My only access to the internet at home is an (ancient?) Dell Latitude CPx we bought second-hand four years ago . . . it had started life with Windows98 . . . but when we bought it, it had been upgraded to XP Professional with Office 2003 . . . l use my machine daily; but l do not use it with battery power ~ l did initially for the occasional word processing; but l was never impressed with battery life . . . l have since been told that it's not a good idea to constantly leave battery in . . . (but l thought the idea was for backup if you lost power?) . . . anyway, the battery has been saying 'fully-charged' but then going to nearly empty within about 10 minutes of coming off the mains power so l knew there was a problem . . . and now it no longer charges at all, so l need a new one (or a new machine) . . . newer machines offer more but l have not been ready for Vista yet
