...shown here is not the Acer Aspire 5613AWLMi as the Aspire 5613AWLMi (5610 series) does not have a built-in webcam and the picture here clearly shows a built-in webcam above the monitor! All in all, you cannot go wrong by getting one of these. As some of the other reviewers have said, with the nVidia 7300 GO 400 Turbocache GPU, it will play most of today's more modern games, with the exception of the very latest Vista compatible games as these are ... ...and wireless Internet connectivity, you can't go far wrong by purchasing this little beauty! Advantages: excelent sytem features Disadvantages: battery life could be better
So far I have had no problems with this laptop. The laptop I have bought is the same as the one shown here but with better features which include:
- Intel core duo processor - 1.86 GHz
- Crystalbrite LCD widescreen - Nvidia geforce go 7300 turbocache
- 160 GB HDD hard drive
- 2 GB ram - Built in wireless connection
- an SD card reader
- 4 USB slots - DVD RW
From the site I bought the laptop (from laptops direct) I was able to buy it with a ... ...a must when buying a laptop, which with the laptop cost around £540. The laptop came pre installed with windows vista which at first is not the easiest of operating systems to get used to and it is also not compatible with some older software. Even still it is improving each day and becoming easier to use. The graphics card on this laptop is sufficient to play most new games and solid works or auto CAD software.
