A truly stunning piece of technology doesn't happen every day - at least not for this money!
Under the £1000 mark you can now buy decent laptops - good specs, well equipped machines. But until now, their ugliness made them embarrasing to take out of the house. The Acer 6920 changes all that.
We needed a laptop for our photographic business, so it had to be fast, powerful and reliable. The Intel Core2 Duo produces a staggering amount of clock speed, around 5 GhZ if you add it up in real terms. Coupled with 4Gb RAM (good quality stuff too), an impressive DEDICATED graphics card and beautiful glass-fronted display, the 6920 meets all the geeky criteria and some!
However, the specs (as impressive as they are) are not the 6920's party piece. No. That, ladies and gentlemen, is it's looks. It - is - stunning. No other way to describe such a beautifully created machine. I'm convinced no supermodels would have one though - if they were sitting next to it, everyone would be gawping at the laptop instead...
Glossy plastic with lights behind, touch-pad controls, a fingerprint scanner - enough gadgets to put James Bond out of business.
The components are of very high quality and we've not had a moment's problem in the 4 months we've had it. I can highly recommend the 6920, you'll be hard-pressed to beat it without spending stupid money. It really is just that good.
