I bought this laptop a few months ago and it is still fantastic. The 18.4 inch screen is mind boggling and the definition is done to perfection.
For games, it can play I think, any game currently on the market. I play over 10 games without lag (not at the same time though). There is a full size keyboard built in which is helpful if you are used to desktops.
There are 4 usb ports (2 on either side) so you can use lots of hardware at the same time. It plays blu-ray discs which is another good feature. The problems with that though, are that it was hard to actually get the disc working and there isn't much difference between normal dvds and the blu-ray dvds. I reccomend you use a HDMI cable and plug the laptop into your TV.
There are a few annoying problems with it though. The mousepad is a bumpy surface so it isn't that responsive (I reccomend you buy a mouse). The speakers are good quality but there isn't much bass. That happens on all laptops so I reccomend you buy either a headset or a set of speakers.
All-in-all, this laptop is fantastic if you want a replacement PC.

Advantages: Big & bright screen, good sound, easy to use Disadvantages: not as light as some, higher sound volumes can be distorted
I have had this laptop for a couple of months now, and have been very impressed so far. The picture quality through the 1080 screen is bright and vibrant, and the sound quality through it's 5.1 speakers is also loud. The only downfall with the sound is that i'm not convinced the sounds truely feel "surround", and at higher volumes can be a little distorted - but by no means am I saying the sound is no good! Obviously for a laptop this size it is ...

Advantages: Fast, good-looking, great accessories, clear screen, very durable. Disadvantages: Bulky, a bit glossy on screen, wifi in and out, gets very hot.
...and processor speed, but the ACER handles the heavy work load really well. Lastly, this is not a very functional mobile laptop. It is heavy and you feel it when carrying it around. All in all I am very happy with this laptop. It does exactly what I bought it for. I highly recommended it. Also Acer personal customer service is excellent. I have had it serviced in Istanbul and Amsterdam, just to check the fan and get it cleaned and they have been great. ...
