Advantages: Cheap, good performance, easy to install Disadvantages: Power button too touchy
...Bought this computer for the gf. It (along with Vista) was very easy to get up and running. Only issues have been with the operating system and the power button. The OS has run VERY well out of the box (so kudos to MS on that), but it is definetely NOT XP. The power button is easily hit if which is rather annoying.
Processor : AMD Athlon64X2 4200+ (2.2 GHz)
RAM installed : 1 GB DDR II SDRAM
Hard drive: 320 GB Standard
Dimensions (W x D x H) : 7.2 in x 17.9 in x 14.6 in
As it comes with vista now it is a very good buy and worth its money....

Advantages: Good Processor, plays nice with home productivity Disadvantages: Bad graphics card, Stupid Power Button
...AcerE380
I picked one of these up at comet on sale sue to a shop refurbished and as such got a display model for a bargain price of £299.99, excitement and a sense of smugness when other customers were piped to the post by me, ok it didn't have a box and need some spit and polish but it was cheap and for what it is mega cheap!
In The Box (or not in my case):
You get one PC, An Acer keyboard and mouse (wired), Media Centre Remote and Receiver and all your power cables and warranty cards. The AcerE380 Basic Specs are as follows

NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6100 chipset
NVIDIA® nForce™ 430 MCP graphics
A Serial ATA 3 Gb/s hard disk with 250 GB
First things first it isn't going to run top `o` range games, but it will perform very very good for a home PC, it has PCI Express x16 Slot for Graphic...

Advantages: Everything you could want, particularly amazing multimedia handling. Disadvantages: Gamers beware
...The AcerAspire L5100 is an economical, yet complete package for the everyday home computer user.
Behind it's small, ultra-compact chassis lies a powerhouse in entertainment; the latest spec for modern home theatre, AMD LIVE!, boasts exceptional and smooth management of your multimedia, the main atrraction for me of this Acer product.
It exudes elegance and chicness in an understated manner; it measures 25cm by 20cm by 6cm and looks fantastic. It therefore feels and looks right at home in a minimalist, stress-free environment.
Due to its cheap price tag of roughly ~£330 one would expect corners to have been cut, but this is not the case.
It has an excellent dual-core AMD Athlon64X2 4200+ / 2.2 GHz processor, an adequate 500GB harddrive to store all your music, films, and videos on, 2GB of RAM, and all the other gimmicks one would...
