Acer Aspire E670 - Pentium D 915

Advantages: Windows Vista Home Premium, looks, ease of use, packages installed.
Disadvantages: Slightly heavy with the battery on.

It comes with Quicktime Player, Windows Media Player and you can choose what programme you want to use to watch your films, listen to your music etc. The 120gb harddrive is a massive amount. I\'ve got over 300 songs stored and my memory and harddrive space is still fine. I\'m using this wirelessly through Virgin which I purchased a Linksys wireless box so no wires hanging out at the back of my laptop!! My partner is also using his laptop wirelessly so the connections are great too. People think Acer are a basic computer manufacturer, I can honestly say this isn\'t the case! This is the 2nd Acer laptop I\'ve owned I\'d never swap to anything else! Overall this is a fantastic laptop, once you use Windows Vista you\'ll never look back. Advantages: Can do a whole months Grocery shopping without getting out of bed
Disadvantages: Battery life only 1 hour

...Now maybe I am easy to please, I don't know; but this morning I paid my bills and did a full months grocery shop in less that 30 minutes and that was before I'd even gotten out of bed. The Acer Aspire 1672LMi is light enough to rest on my lap (on top of a book to keep the fans underneath clear.) and the wrist rests (try saying that with no teeth in) make typing so much more comfortable. The monitor is bright and clear and it has a native resolution of 1024 x 768. The keyboard has an imbedded number pad which can be activated with a Function key, if you are used to using the numeric keypad then it would be a good idea to get a separate one 'cause this was a bind for me. A built in memory card reader comes in handy (I take lots of photos) and it has 4 pin firewire. Now I don't know if it's true for all Acer Aspire 1672LMi machines... Read review
