    Advantages Advantages Stylish, powerful and affordable. It works like a charm.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages For me, none. But for some the portability may be an issue (Keep in mind this is a media laptop)

    I have owned eight laptops in my lifetime and I can honestly say the the Acer Aspire 8943G is the best one I have ever owned. My current profession is that of a games designer and programmer. My skills are relied on to make games seem realistic and entertaining. As you can imagine I need a very high performance PC/laptop for the job and that's just what the 8943G is. The Intel Core i7 720QM boots up my computer in about 8 - 9 seconds flat. It runs my very labour intensive software at such high speeds it's incredible.     Advantages Advantages Power, graphics, sound quality, versatility, amazing screen

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Sooo big - heavy and tricky to use on the move. Built-in mouse is glitchy

    I bought the 8943G as my main computer, deciding not to go for a desktop due to the high spec of this laptop and the fact that I would need to work from a number of different locations. I use some fairly processor-heavy applications like graphics and development tools, so my only option was a high-spec machine. I was surprised to see Acer packing so much power in their Aspire range and shopped around for a good price after reading some good reviews.
