Advantages: Bright screen,Huge memory
Disadvantages: Odd Glossy finish, annoying mouse button

A bright 15.4 inch screen, huge hard disk, and seemingly unlimited levels of memory make this a great home laptop, this to me seems where it is best suited rather than as a business notebook. Its reasonable if not good price make this centrino laptop a very good choice. - Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit, Sp1) - Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 (2.00GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB) - 15.4? Acer Aspire Notebook - Fab!

Advantages: Easy to use, seems virus free
Disadvantages: short battery life

I LOVE my Acer Aspire One. It is sooo easy to use, and reliable. I was a little concerned about using Linux rather than Windows, but there isn't much difference. Linux uses far less memory and is intuitive to use. Memory can be upgraded easily with a micro SD card - I got an 8 Gb from Amazon for about £5 and just put in the slot on the side and Hey Presto 10Gb of memory! I found the track pad a bit small so bought a Logitech wireless mouse (ARGOS) to use which made a big difference to how I can play games etc. Internet connectivity is fast using a router. Start up to connection takes less than a minute, main home pc (windows xp)takes at least 5 minutes to boot up including anti virus etc, no such problems with acer. It doesn't seem to need antivirus software or firewalls etc. I have been using it for 7 months with absolutely no problems ...
