I own the 8GB linux version in white. It is cute and compact with a glossy finish.
The Aspire One running linux is surprisingly fast considering its 512MB of ram.
It is perfect for wirelessly browsing the web using fire fox.
The keyboard is just short of full size making it the perfect tool for typing an e-mail or essay whilst out and about.
The open office documents can be saved as word, powerpoint or excel documents so they are microsoft compatible.
I chose the 8GB version for the increased durability, I have not yet filled the hard drive but when I do there is a storage expansion slot which will take an SD card.
The Aspire one is a great little computer well worth its small price tag
