Review on Acer Aspire One

This nifty little machine was the first laptop ever too come home with me. I bought it from John Lewis for £125 and i have too say it is extremely useful for the whole family. My nephew is addicted to some of the games that come pre-installed onto it. My Daughter uses it to go on facebook, talk to her friends, basically socialize. My Wife uses it to spend all my money online ;) and i use it too catch up on my e-mail and work.

Hard Drive

The Amount of space on this tiny little laptop is phenomenal, I can store thousands of my songs, movies, photos, e-mails, just everything you need to store it can be fitted onto the vast hard drive space available. Mine came with 250GB Hard drive which is more than enough space for all the family to use. Also because there is so much space on the hard drive it helps with the speed on the netbook when there is more space so boot times are around half a minute for me

Speed

With only 1GB of RAM running this little thing seems very small at first in the shop but when you get it on and see that navigating through the many menus is quick and easy there is no problem. Although don't expect it to be running so smoothly when you have lots of applications up and are multi-tasking.

Portability

The Acer aspire one looks brilliant in everyday although it is very small this adds more style to the netbook and with the blue glossy finish on the exterior it is the perfect laptop to brag about. With the laptop only weighing a mere 1.2 kg compared to the usual 3-4 kg laptops it is amazingly light and extremely easy to fit into your backpack without even feeling it. Also because the netbook is so small you will not be disappointed if you have to carry around all say as it is easier than carrying a bulky laptop case with you instead. The battery life on the netbook is up to 8 hours so it will be sure to meet your needs on a long journey or even a work presentation.

Features

If you are some one who likes there gadgets and gizmos like me then you will love the things this machine comes pre-packed with. Like the 2 megapixel integrated web-cam which is perfect for skype or even taking photos of you and your family. Also if you are a lover of music then the speakers on this thing are gonna' rock your socks off with the music blasting around the house, ringing in your ears!! The sound quality that bursts from the speakers are simply, amazing. Also you can install Microsoft office, BBC IPlayer, Itunes and lots more applications that everybody can use. If you have a thing for movies you may think that he 10.1 inch screen may be too small to satisfy your needs but with the awesome sound quality and the arguably better screen resolution you will not be disappointed as you are engrossed in the film in front of you.

Overview

Overall i think that this laptop is simply amazing value for money and i have had a very good experience with it. I would recommend to people who are on the move alot and need a cheap netbook that cvers all of your everyday needs.
