Acer have been the manufacturers to millions of computers in households all around the world, and great expectations are on them every time they release a new desktop, so does this one carry the standard forward.
Well- Yes and No.
The good things about this computer is the general speedy feeling throughout, with the AMD 3400+ easily meeting the demand for speed for todays general applications. The AMD Processor gives power where you need it, and doesn't dissapoint when Video Editing or Burning CD's, although an Upgrade with another 512 Stick of RAM, Would improve performance and stability somewhat.
The down side to this PC, is that it is abit noisy, and I wouldn't recommend it if your looking for a Silent PC to be left on whilst sleeping, etc. Another dissapointment is the lack of a physical graphics card. The T160 comes equipped with an onboard Nvidia 6100 which can only withstand some of todays games. Games like Doom3 would not be able to play smoothly on this PC and therefore I recommend this computer for a personal office / work use.
Summary: A good office computer, at a good price, Bargain buy.

I picked one of these up at comet on sale sue to a shop refurbished and as such got a display model for a bargain price of £299.99, excitement and a sense of smugness when other customers were piped to the post by me, ok it didn't have a box more
