...Bought this computer around 2 months ago now. ( Aug 05)
It couldnt be easier using this pc. Easy to use. Not bulky. Like having mic and earphones jacks at the front of tower . No more reaching behind to plug in the multi media headphones for skype and messenger.
Ear phone sockets on speakers very useful to.
Seems very fast to me, but maybe because our old one we wound up at the back. lol.
Would highly recommend. Picked flat screen option at very little extra cost. £399 Comet online the complete package.
Inc Dvd re writer and player. Sd card slot. .
Comet very speedy free delivery service was great. You can choose the 48hr delivery for a small fee. Thank you....

Advantages: Light, Fast and Big Screen Disadvantages: Not terrfic Battery Power
...The Aspire series have always been a good choice for me. Light, fast, and powerfull, Acer have pulled out all the stops in making this cheap, fast and reliable.
The Aspire 3502 series is definately NOT an exception. Boasting a 1.4 GHz low-heat processor, 512mb RAM, a 40GB hard drive, and a hell of a lot of extras on-disc, the 3502 is a fast, zippy machine definately worth the £500 I bought it for.

...I do not personally have the Acer 3693WLMi product but I do have the Acer 3630 Aspire (3634WLMi to be exact), and believe me If this AcerAspire 3693 Notebook with the following details - RAM: 512 MB - DVD±RW (+R Double Layer) / DVD-RAM - 2.8 kg - Battery run time: 2.5 hour(s) is anywhere as good as the one I have I would happily recommend this item to anyone ...elegant and highly efficient compact wide screen notebook comes with a complete set of wired and wireless connectivity options and Acer's innovative Empowering Technology for a comprehensive and versatile solution to mobile multimedia management.
I have never yet come across an easier to use make or design of notebook / laptop and I have used a few believe me.
Go ahead buy this Acer with no second thoughts....

After knocking a full cup of tea over my laptop (and destryoing the insides completely) I claimed on my insurance and was sent an Acer Aspire 5315. It costs around £300 to buy in the shops, placing it at the bottom end of the price range for laptops at... more
