Acer Aspire X3200, Good for media But its going to get old, FAST 3 of 3 Ciao Users found the following review helpful
Rating from Danmanc 3 Stars ()

Advantages Fast for media, HDMI Port And 7.1 Channel Audio Support and its easy on the eyes.

Disadvantages Small cramped case, not good for upgrading after being outdated, no good for games.

This computer is an amazing buy for people not wanting to pay over £400 for a fast and powerful desktop computer.

Im going to be brief because i know how much of reviews just get skipped.

Design

The case for this is beautiful, from the outside. On the inside on the other-hand is a mess of wires and motherboard add-ons cramped into a small space. I have not tested this but i am guessing that because of the quality of the parts that make the computer what it is, get really hot, so maybe not the best case to use if you are pushing the Cpu and Gpu to the max on a regular basis, THIS MAY MAKE THE COMPUTER UNRELIABLE.

Parts

This computer comes with a 2.1GHz AMD Phenom X3 8450 Which is basically a fairly fast Cpu Capable of running all the new programs at fast speeds, from my experience a Amd Phenom x4 is still the most future proof "Budget" Cpu out there, i switched to one and have never had any problems at all, always runs at a constant speed.
The Phenom X3 is still great for everyday use and also for Media but i think a Phenom X4 would be a very good investment.
The GRAPHICS are not stunning as it says, they are basic. Dont even attempt to run a game on this, you will be angered by how slow it will run, but if you want to turn this into a gaming Pc it is possible, but you will need a way more powerful fan otherwise you will get a lot of overheating and shutting off.

This Desktop Pc has some great extra features that are a essential since it is an entertainment Pc, the HDMI port for one, this is on almost every HD Ready Tv, plug this Pc into it and watch movies or anything you like all via High Definition.
The audio support is also great for a full cinema experience when mixed with The HDMI.
Another great add-on is the card reader, this is useful if you want to run a movie that somebody else has, just get a cheap memory card like an SD or a Memory stick and let them put it on it. This is the new way of transferring media and i must say has replaced the need for blank DVD discs anymore. Its also a lot cheaper and smoother since memory cards can run faster and are reusable unlike normal Dvd discs.

This will support all the Operating systems from windows, such as XP and Vista.

Experience

My actual experience with the Pc was fine, But..
It just wasn't anything special its fine if you want to just use it for media but i very doubt that anybody does.
I opted for a all round Desktop Pc with a AMD Phenom X4, ATI Radeon 4850 with 4 gig of ram. Was the best purchase i have ever made, its been a year and it would still match up to Desktop Pc's newly added to the market.

But i guess its up to you, would u buy this which may be unreliable due to the heat and get outdated in a year or 2 or would you but a chunky but roomy Desktop Pc which takes up space but, has better airflow, more room for future upgrades and will last you something like 5-6 years, maybe more for around £50-£100 more than this?

If you want to know about an all round computer for gaming, media and anything else you can throw at it and also reliable then leave me a nice review, send me a message and i will link you up with the cheapest but best setups.
