I own an Acer Ferrari 1100. It is stylish, gorgeous and radiates its own class, higher standard than others. Well, there is ASUS Lamborghini VX3, but the price of ASUS is much higher than Acer Ferrari. It is powerful and fast, once you get rid of the acer softwares that makes it slow. 64-bit vista ultimate runs fast with the help of 4GB memory. And the slot-loading dvd drive is a nice addition. And the AMD Turion64 X2 TL-66 2.30GHz Processor is a fast processor for everyday tasks. And the battery life is decent. It lasts me for about three hours, with wifi and screen brightness at 60%. Nicely done, Acer.
OVERALL, YOU WON'T REGRET BUYING THIS NOTEBOOK, I SURELY DIDN'T.

This machine is very good, once you get rid of the ACER bundled software it performs brilliantly, it's fast, efficient and does everything blisteringly quick. Build quality is good, 7/10 compared to my ASUS Lamborghini laptop which is a 10/10 for build quality. Compared to the ASUS, the ACER performs like for like except in one department, graphics, no where near as good as the Lamborghini, my only performance disappointment. The ACER also suffers from not having a HDMI output but other than the afore mentioned issues I really can't fault it. A good professional machine, stylish and good value at £979, the ASUS is better but at £1800 it should be!
