For its age I think it is really good, it looks good and the keyboard and pad are easy and comfortable to use, but as the other reviewer said it does heat up a lot, and the fan is on full power most of the time, I am going to hopefully solve this ... ...with extra fans hopefully it will run a lot cooler and quieter.
The DVD rw works great and all the sofware that came with it is working great, the DVD burning software is easier than Nero. This is not my main pc, if it was I would probably notice the age more, it can't play streaming video at full screen and it obviously can't play more demanding games, but it plays films no problem and the screen size is good for films.

I bought mine on ebay for £360, I needed it for university study and it's working really well for small documents like word and excel and it will also play some games well, mainly Unreal Tournament online :-)

So although a bit dated now and would benefit from an increase in memory, it can run for hours without problems and as far as this one is concerned it is ageing well, still looks good and still works well enough for me to get my essays done, oh it also has bluetooth which my friend new one dose't have and looks a whole lot better, if you like flashy :-)

hello this Acer Ferrari 3000LMi - Athlon XP-M 2500+ 1.86 GHz - 15" TFT Notebook is a very excellent Laptop and it looks very good.
And it is very cheap just for about 200 - 500 pounds.
And it is not heavy this Notebook is very very fast like a really ferrari and a very big Screen bigger than normal ones and the coulor of the Notebook looks good. And it has Vista inside.
It has a very good Graphiccard.
this Notebook is good for the Money that ... ...nice Notebook buy this one.
You can put 2 USB inside and the battery get very very fast charged.
And the battery stays for long long time about 2 - 3 hours.

it has speakers and wireless biult in. the memory is 512 mb, but you can extend that to 2 GB. it can read the cd or dvd very fast. it has a microphone built in so you dont need to buy a microphone to speak to others via msn, yahoo etc.
