Acer Headset

...say why I chose the Acer brand, they all do much the same job, and are roughly the same price, being around £35. For me, it looks cool.


Setting up the device is a breeze. First job was to set my phone to accept and look for Bluetooth devices, basically, (on Nokia’s), go to the Bluetooth options and switch it on.

...After this, a pin code (provided) must be entered. Now phone and headset will know each so well, and love each other, and communicate till both of their batteries go flat, aaahhh so nice, hehe!. But it’s such a great way to link up accessories like this, no wires and stuff to get in your face while driving.

Today, a mobile phone has become an essential part of our everyday lives.
It seems now that no one, rich or poor, young or old can be without a mobile. What a great aid to all our lives it is.

Anyone remember the days when you had to dash out late in the cold night to try and find the old red phone box, to phone the Doc’ …had to do that myself once (in the 80’s) after eating some of my own cooking, after moving into my first flat !!, The stomach pains were unbearable.

I’m a heavy user myself; need the mobile for business and pleasure. I also have more than one car. I don’t fancy shelling out loads of dosh on multiple hands free car kits for the vehicles I use. Now the law has changed, don’t fancy a fine & points either!

So, I thought the best way round these problems was to make use of the Bluetooth options installed on my phone.

The phone will then light up saying “accept connection from device?” After this, a pin code (provided) must be entered. Now phone and headset will know each so well, and love each other, and communicate till both of their batteries go flat, aaahhh so nice, hehe!. But it’s such a great way to link up accessories like this, no wires and stuff to get in your face while driving.

The headset sits on the ear; the speaker part fits inside the ear and is very comfortable, as long as you don’t push it in too far. After a while you’ll forget it’s there. As soon as the phone rings, a single press of the main button will answer the call, when you’ve finished, another press will end it.
The voice quality, so I’ve been told is first class. The volume of the received call can be adjusted also.
After a short while the connection between the two will be lost, I suppose to save battery power. But by pressing the control button once more, for any reason will have the two linked again.
An in car charger is included, also by mains or (via usb) the ability to connect it to the computer to charge up the headset internal battery.

All in all a fantastic little addition to your mobile phone, and save yourself a few points and a fine from the boys in Blue.
