As a student, i thought that a PDA might be a great way to organise myself. And it was. For what i paid (£169.99), i thought that what it did was good. I loved the interface, media player, and office. I even managed to get my wireless keyboard working on it! The bluetooth function made it easy for me to transfer songs to my phone, and vice-versa. There are many programs available from Microsoft and other sites providing Pocket PC software, all of which can be stored on a SD card. Very comfortable to hold. I did read eBooks on it, which made good use of the scroll wheel at the side. I think the sound quality could be better, but obviously, its coming from 1 little speaker, so if you were looking for a PDA with great sound properties, i wouldnt recommend this one, but for what i needed it for (schoolwork and organisation) it was just what i needed. BUT! Unfortunately, due to and accident with a ruler, the screen was damaged on mine, so i got a replacement. On the packaging for the replacement, there was i nice yellow sticker saying 'Upgraded', and i say do not be fooled! In my opinion, the replacement they provided me with had less features than my previous one. The only feature added was the ability to change the screen from portrait to landscape. I was not happy, so much that i took it back, after loosing all faith in the N30, because it did not have what i had before. So be weary! Ask for a test drive in the shop! And don't buy until you are satisfied with it's functions! I had had my heart set on the N30, and been saving up for months (nearly one year!) and so you can imagine my disappointment. P.S. I also think the security could be better on it, for such a portable and easy-to-lose device, as it only operated off ONE either 4 digit or alphanumeric password...
P.S.S. The specific criteria reviews will be for the first one i had

As I have only left somewhat helpful, I feel I should justify my resons for doing so: The reason I am is detail, the item as you state cost £169.99, not insignificant, because of this I personally feel that more detail is required for this review to help a person make an informed choice as to whether or not to buy said product. If you do edit your review let me know via my guest book, and I'll take another look.
Advantages: Excellent sat-nav package at low price, well-spec'd handheld computer Disadvantages: Advertising unclear: hidden costs of full European package
