So how does it cool???? My processor is an AMD Athlon 2500XP-m, a mobile processor fitted in a PC. These overclock fantastically well! Mine currently is at 2500 mhz (2.5Ghz) which is equivalent to a normal athlon XP at something like 3700XP. On benchmark tests it performs as well as lower end athlon 64s and equals the performance of a P4 3.2ghz, no mean feat!
Of course overclocking to this state means you need to increase the voltage to the processor, and this means more heat!
The air temperature here is currently around 30'c, very warm and a little too warm for my liking!
This does mean however that the temps I get will be way above normal as the air passing over the heatsink will be warm too,

OPERATING SYSTEM
The Acer Aspire 5520G runs Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium as an operating...

there are two switches on the front of the laptop one to enable /disable wireless lan the other to enable/disable bluetooth both accompanied with an led ,although this model does not have bluetooth (was told by acer that it is a generic case for a variety of models.
the laptop performs well with the 2ghz processor and 512mb memory handling all the applications i needed. the bundled acer empowering technology is quite useful as it also includes a program to free up unused ram.
the touchpad is easy to get used to even i managed to get used to it very quickly and i have never had a laptop before.
the built in web cam is pretty good for a 0.3 mega pixel camera.
the built in card...
