Advantages: Slim, A breeze to use, Good battery. Disadvantages: Audio output when in car not loud, even on maximum setting.
...Purchased this product 3 months ago. Excellent satnav system, does what it says on the box. The accident black spot camera updates are a breeze to load.
The on-board aerial incorporated within the unit is outstanding, even in those with the special thermic window screens, if there should be any difficulties then there is a connection for an external aerial to be fitted.
The only drawback with the unit I have, is that the audio output is not very loud even when turned up to the maximum setting. But all in all the unit is a vast improvement on my previous satnav.
With all the functions that are available on this unit, (see the various websites for further info) I would recommend the Garmin nüvi 760 GPS receiver to anybody....

...also work on the improved compact flash II connection).The design is a bit like a compact flash card with a plastic housing sitting on top and is about twice the size of a standard compact flash card. The plastic housing contains the main workings of the unit like motherboard and inbuilt aerial thus eliminating the need for a separate aerial. The product also has a LED which illuminates when you have plugged the unit into the slot and are receiving power. Combined with suitable software you will be able to map your 3D position and other information like travelling speed and co-ordinates for geocaching (a type of treasure hunting challenge based around GPS technology and the internet).

A very well designed product primarily designed to overcome reception problems in cars with heated windscreens that can adversely affect reception. Easy to install (good magnet allows you to site the antenna vitually anywhere on the exterior of the car). more
