    I have a need, whereby on occasion I have to work away from home, or more often than that a requirement to bring work home. Failure to do so meaning long lonely hour's spent away from home. A PDA or a laptop computer seemed the obvious answer, but the PDA’s fell short of the mark in that I could not input the software required for the task, so leaving the laptop as the only way forward. However the cost of a new laptop could not be justified for the amount of work it would get.
