For anyone looking for a quick laptop then look no further ... ...look business like. However this acer isn't really that bad. Its all black in colour, and I think it could have looked two times better if it was two toned black and sliver however it is quite sleek and even though it could look better, acer have done a good job with the design.

Acer as a respectable company are growing in popularity, and even though they may be quite away from matching rivals dell, they are still now just as well known as some other lower named laptop companies out there.
This laptop features an Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 / 2 Ghz processor, this is very fast and runs the huge 2 gb of ram installed superbly. For anyone looking for a quick laptop then look no further because you will struggle to find a laptop much quicker than this.
Another thing about this is that, even if that 2gb of ram wasn't fast enough for you, (even though it will be fast enough for nearly anyone) then you can upgrade the ram to a massive 4 gb. This can be costly however its great to have this possibility because if you think its too slow you wont have to get a new faster laptop, and can instead just upgrade the ram to increase the laptops performance.
This laptops great specs hasn't just stopped at the huge amount of ram. Its also got a big hard drive too, with a huge 160 gb hard drive you will be able to store all your pictures, movies, music and well anything else you can can think of to store on this huge hard disk space.
The only bad thing I can think of about this laptop is its screen size. However this could be looked at in two different ways. For me, because I usually have 17 inch screened laptops, this 14.1 inch screen seems a little small, especially when viewing web videos or watching movies and videos on mi laptop. However, the other view on this laptop could be that this 14.1 inch screen (which by the way is great quality and ultra sharp) makes the laptop ultra portable and you can see this by the fact it only weighs 2. Kg. so for all you people who want something portable and very fast this could be for you.
Now, iv always thought the design of the travelmate is a bit boring, after all it is made for business men and is meant to look business like. However this acer isn't really that bad. Its all black in colour, and I think it could have looked two times better if it was two toned black and sliver however it is quite sleek and even though it could look better, acer have done a good job with the design.
But what I really like about this laptop, is its extra features. You can see just by looking at it, its great built in webcam. These make video chat so much easier as it means you don't have to set up a webcam, you don't have to worry about wires and best of all you don't have to worry about always being in the picture.
This laptop also contains a 5 in 1 card reader which reads any of: SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card. These are great as they just make transferring pictures from your digital cameras so much easier as you don't have to worry about finding cables and about battery life on your camera.
This laptop is for anyone who has a lot of work to do, but little time to do it in, its for anyone who is impatient in waiting one second more than they have to for things to load. Its also for anyone who wants something ultra portable with great built in features too.
