The Acer Travelmate series come generally very well-equipped to be competent laptop computers for the modern age, and the 7520 is no exception. Using the same Turion 64x2 that is quite standard in its Travelmate range, the 7520 is quick to boot; the 2GB of RAM is quite sufficient for multimedia applications such as watching DVDs - well provided for by a very able DVD drive and a very nicely presented, clear screen. As well as this, the product is easy to use and well-designed to be comfortable to use for long periods, with a great touchpad.
However, the screen is quite easily scratched and the battery life is really rather poor - typically you can expect approximately 80 mins on 'high performance', or longer on the more frugal but less useful 'balanced' and 'power saver' options.

the Acer also has a built in 160gb hard drive to store all your digital needs on, and with 160gb you'll probably never need to buy another second hard drive.
some great features of this laptop are its built in camera at the top of the screen and its built in 5 in one card reader makes getting pictures off your camera so much easier.
altogether this is a quite quick laptop, its designed for the business user and is very robust.
... ...bulky, also the battery life's only 2.5 hours so if you need to take it places your better off with something smaller with a better battery life.
however it does have a great big screen and is good for watching movies on as well as doing work on, so if you want something easy to use and fast to replace that old desktop then this laptops for you. ...

the acer travelmate 7520 has everything companies, home companies or familys need to maximize the performance of the work they do on their laptop.
this acer has a great 17 inch tft widescreen. and with a powerful AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology Processor it takes performance to the next level.
this laptop is great for anyone who works alot and needs a nice fast piece of equiptment to work on.
the huge 160 gb hard drive on this device provides ... ...makes the laptop run fast, however if you need a siper quick laptop, this 1gb can easily be upgraded to 4gb of ram to make your laptop run like a dream.
it has a ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 which gives great graphics on the 17inch screen.
one of my favorote things about this laptop, is that it has a 5 in 1 card reader already built in, which just makes taking pictures, movies or music off disk drives or cards really easy, and you dont have to worry ...
