Acer TravelMate 7720

This is another great laptop from the acer travelmate range. this laptop, like all the other travelmates is specifically designed for those working people. You can tell by looking at it that its not really a gaming or movie laptop, because it does look very business like, however its not ugly and it does look quite sleek.

This features a Intel Core 2 Duo processor which runs the 2gb installed ram like a dream. Another great thing about this laptop is that the ram can be upgraded to 4gb, this isn\'t cheap however and could cost over £100 to upgrade it to 4gb of ram, however this would make the laptop run so much faster so if you do need a really fast laptop then this is possible something to might think about when buying.

This specific travelmate has a great 160gb hard drive, which from my point of view is enough for all you digital needs. And if you need more storage space, you could use its 5 in 1 card reader to transfer data, this supports any of, SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card.
Also you could use its DVD±RW (+R double layer) / DVD-RAM - integrated disk writer to burn data onto disks, and to produce your own movies and CDs too.

Another great thing about this acer compared to the other ones, is that it has a 17 inch screen. A lot of previous travelmates only had a 15.2 inch screen so its great to see this one have a 17 inch screen. Also just because the screens got bigger, you'd think it would have less battery life, well actually it has 3 hours, which is a lot more than some of the previous versions.

However it is a bit bulkier than some of the previous acers, only a bit thought and is still quite light weighing only 3.7 kg and its more than portable still.

Another great thing about this laptop is its built in webcam at the top of the screen, this is a great added bonus to any laptop as it means you can chat and video chat with friends, without having to go out and purchase a web cam for £30, then have to set it all up and worry about the wires.

Basically if you need a laptop to do work on, and want something quite portable than this is for you. Its 3 hours battery life is great and its 17 inch screen is also a plus.
Also the speed of this laptop is very quick, and possibly the fastest of any acers iv seen to date.
