...the Navman F20 which is now quite cheap to buy at <£120 and I was also looking at the Acerv200 at <£120. I liked using the Navman but it lacked key features such as map scrolling, road block and itinerary planning which made it very annoying to use and somewhat useless. The other Navmans were too expensive for me so they were out. Garmins Nuvi seemed so confusing to pin down what version did what and what was new and what was out of date I gave up on them when its obvious that the tomtom v3 was a new bit of kit. The Acer got good reviews and had map scroll but no speed cameras built in or itinerary planning or roadblock features, I think. Also there future maps releases and customer support could be questionable as they are new to the Sat Nav market.
So I looked towards Tomtom, previously I thought it would be so cliché to get one...

Advantages: Camera featues, good looking Disadvantages: Slips easily out of hand, difficult to turn sounds off
...I have recently upgraded to the Samsung E700 from the V200 and am pleasantly surprised with it. I was a little disappointed with the V200 mainly due to the service provider. But the improvements made to the E700 have made it much better. The camera modes and features ae so much better and the multi-shot mode allows a short "video" to be captured. Also the added ability to add voices to MMS is good. And now any entered words are remembered in the phone when next writing a text - this is a major improvement
The main issues that I have are that this phone seems to be "slippy" when I hold the phone it slips out my hand quite frequently. Also I have had problems with the sounds on the phone and turning phone.
Overall good looking phone with added features to the V200 and I would definitely recommend this mobile....

Advantages: small, very sensitive, 17 hour battery length Disadvantages: cost
...Many of us are now getting sat nav. Some are complete units with integrated GPS and maps, whilst others are separate units such as a pocketpc or mobile phone, with separate GPS receiver.
The Globalsat BT-338 is one of the latest generation bluetooth GPS receivers using the new SiRF Star III chipset - lower power usage with greater sensitivity. The price varies from £100 on Ebay to £140 in the shops.
The unit itself is matchbox sized and has a rechargeable battery whose life is claimed to be about 17 hours. The pack comes with the GPS receiver, incar charger, mains charger, soft case, and instruction cd. The bluetooth range is 10m, and the GPS can track up to 20 satellites at once.
The GPS is easy to use - one button on the front to turn on/off (with auto power-off if not connected to a bluetooth device in ten minutes...

I absoutly love this scanner, it is fantastic and great value for money at £69.99 for a scanner you cant go wrong.
I have so many photos of me and my family when I was a child, and I felt it would be great to buy a scanner and put them onto the computer more
It takes a lot to get my lazy backside to write a review online, in fact I have not done this before, but I am so impressed with Acers Aspire 5920 I just can't keep quiet about this machine and have a strange urge to shout from the rooftops all about its more
