Advantages: ALMOST NOTHING Disadvantages: ALMOST EVERYTHING
...FLOPPYDISK
A very good device to save some of your stuff. 1.44mb is not much of a very big space. It is not worth it but the price you pay is comparatively small. There are more devices like USB and Mp3 players which costs just bit more and gives more space.
To be precise in 1.44mb you can just save about ONE or two JPG image. if u need something to save your project in or which you might need for long it is not worth it. it is worth for some one who just wants to save some word documents.
The another disadvantage which is kind of a major one is that the laptops don't have a floppydrive built in. You need an external Floppydrive to make this thing work in the laptop.
Hope this is useful....

Advantages: Great Processor Speed - 1.5Ghz Disadvantages: TouchPad can be slightly jumpy.
...When I bought my Acer TravelMate, I was amazed at the low prices. I took it home, and set it up, no problem. I start it up next time, and theres already a blue error come up on the screen. This was a bit dissapointing, but I have had none since and the laptop made up for it with its quick 1.5Ghz Processor, 256MB RAM, and style. This laptop is well worth the money. Anoter disadvantage of this laptop is that it doesnt come with any built in floppydiskdrives, therefore you would need to buy a seperate extrernal floppydrive. The laptop can run nearly all programs at a great speed. Overall this is a great laptop and I reccomend it....

Advantages: Its has good components Disadvantages: Battery don't last that much
..., the weight it’s quite heavy but not to much. On the left side it has the DVD±RW with the 4 in 1 card reader, it comes with Windows XP Home Edition with SP1 but its in Fat32 not NTFS, the disk of the OS its not the normal Windows XP disk it’s a recovery disk from Symantec Norton Ghost 9 so if you want Windows XP in NTFS you need to reformat the Hard drive but you need another Windows XP original copy because like I said the recovery disk is only Fat32 and you can’t do nothing about it.
