Advantages: Good Looking and a decent sized laptop with all good features Disadvantages: Battery life not too great
...) of the laptop make it easier to take places with you wether it be work or university after all they are meant to be a portable pc. a negative about the acer laptop is the fact that the optimum battery life is 2.5 hours. this means if you are going somewhere on business for example your laptop may not last the length of your journey whihc would end up being quite annoying and disruptive. the operating system on this laptop is windows xp home. for me this s an easy system to use and is easy to navigate with. the way that it is set out makes using your laptop a better experienc. and also easier for novices to the pc world. this acer laptop comes with 3 usb slots and an internet slot to connect to the internet. lastly the laptop comes with the latest turon technologhy of 1.6ghz this enables the speed of yopur laptop and how uick it loads up and loads...

Advantages: Quick, good form factor, all in one functionality Disadvantages: Bulky, not a solid feel, driver support can be a little slow
...As a long time Acer fan, it is good to know that Acer continue to produce excellent value, no nonsense PCs that have both innovation and performance.
The Aspire series continues that line, with an overall good package of functionality, performance and aesthetics.
This is a good solution for those of you who want grunt, without the need for constant mobile agility. It is more than adequate for most uses, but will suffer slightly in the "games machine" stakes compared to some of the other high end machines out there. Nevertheless, you cannot complain too much when you factor in the price.
Reliability is generally good, Acer support is efficient, provided you have done your part in registering promptly and having all your details on hand.
All in all, a worthy investment....

Advantages: Cool with style, technology, user friendly with easy understanding Disadvantages: Sensitive touch buttons, overweight,
...I purchased my Acer Aspire 5920G from Comet. So much for cutting prices. The laptop itself is cool, it's fairly fast, easy to use and really portable. The 15.4" inch screen is the perfect size. The laptop comes with the useful Acer Empowering software. Highly recommended laptop, the only problems I have had is with the sometimes buggy Vista. The keyboard isn't the best but I haven't had any problems with it. the touch sensitive media buttons on the right of the keyboard are too sensitive and i often end up touching them and opening the program by mistake. the Acer is fitted with superfast wireless with the inclusion of 802.11n. It also has a card reader and a camera. The laptop is great, lots of features, Acer have really pushed the boat out on this. A lot of people have been critical of the styling however I find it quite refreshing....
