I have owned this since august 2009, and it has done everything I have asked of it. The Laptop came pre loaded with Vista Home and I was a little dubious at first but we have got on well together. It also came preloaded with Norton and Microsoft 30-day trial, these trials prompted me to try out the products and to consider purchasing the full item. The battery life does seem to last even if you aren't running single programs. Its fairly durable and doesn't do too badly in surviving family life. The support from emachines is absolutely excellent and problems are dealt with swiftly. It has an excellent processor and is quick at loading pages and programs. The memory capacity is excellent you can install all the programs you need without worrying about the performance. In my opinion the interface is very user friendly and is customisable down to the very last menu icon. This makes this an excellent laptop for both children and adults. This came as part of my mobile contract but they are available to purchase for around £350. I think it makes this laptop affordable to everyone and excellent value for money.
