...My twin friends both have one of these horrible computers, and since the very annoying computer services at my School don't allow my wonderful iBook onto the network, I have had to use them far too much. The system attempts to be a small 'Ultra-portable', and succeeds faily well, apart from if you want to use a Floppy or CD-Rom! For these functions, you require the Drive module to be plugged into the side of the machine by some wierd proprietary connector, and as it is not hot-swappable, woe betide anyone who thinks of inserting it or removing it while the machine is on. Think of how difficult thinking about all that would be on a Train. The system has always seemed slow, and has suffered severe crashes Many times. The problems have been hard to sort out, and Acer have had to been shouted at alot to get a new power supply. Also... Read review

...support on the wire near the computer plug meaning the copper inside the wire's insulation can bend and break easily. I had had mine for a little over a year. I was not willing to shell out £30 on the net for another poorly designed adapter, so I went to my local electronics store and came across this universal adapter. The Trust Universal Adapter truly is universal. It comes with a wire to which you can connect one of 6 notebook plugs or 9 other connectors for most phone models or iPod. These attach to another wire which can be attached to the main box, meaning you can charge your mobile or iPod while using it to power your laptop. One of the 6 notebook connectors should work with the vast majority of notebook models, even if not specified (you can always email customer support and enquire beforehand).
