Blow away those winter colds!

Advantages: Can cure many complaints!
Disadvantages: None at all

.../>

Aconite is a really useful homeopathic remedy, and it is certainly one to keep in the medicine chest.

** What is it? **

Aconite is more commonly known as Monkshood or Wolfsbane. The raw plant is actually very poisonous, but that is not a problem for us, as homoeopathically the remedy is diluted so much that there is virtually no material dose of the plant left.

In homeopathic terms, ...

Aconite - Monkshood My family used to suffer from frequent colds that lasted a long time and were difficult to shift. A friend of mine had used homeopathic remedies for some time and was convinced that they worked, so I began using aconite, for myself and my family. We still do catch the occassional cold but now they are usually mild and clear up very quickly. The remedy works for the whole family, for several ailments that I will tell you about ...

Aconite- What A Crock!

Advantages: nice colour pot
Disadvantages: Its rubbish

...a detailed rundown of everything aconite is supposed to do. If thats what you are after I suggest you read "Blow Away Those Winter Colds" by lazza123. Here you will only be getting the little i have learned and my own personal experience of the product. From what I can gather, the main reasoning behind homeopathy is a minute amount of what kills you , cures you. So to start with I found this somewhat disturbing when my dentist suggested I get Aconite ...
...have a "cure all" which aconite appeared to be. I went to my local chemist to see what they had and to ask the pharmacists advice. I wanted to check that the dose the dentist told me was safe, and the pharmacist agreed, that for my particular problem was indeed safe. I found a rack of homeopathic medicines by NELSONS aconite being one of them. I was a bit put off by the price. £4.95 I paid for 6c. Its a little pot about 3 inches high, and about ...

Go on! treat yourself!

Advantages: Safe, effective, it works, no side effects
Disadvantages: None

I suddenly realised, that after having written five ops on Homeopathic remedies (Aconite, Arnica, Belladonna, Chamomilla and Nux Vom) , that for a lot of people it is a great big leap of faith to be told about these "miracle cures". So what I would like to do here under "Homeopathy in General" is to give you all an insight in what Homeopathy is, and how you can use it. ** What is Homeopathy? ** Basically it a system of treatment of diseases and medical conditions, that are a safe and natural alternative to conventional medicine. It can be used on children, adults and animals. However by law in the UK only a vet can diagnose problems with animals. You can treat your own animals with homeopathy though. As a homeopath I could suggest what I might give my pet. It works on the principle of "like cures like" that is if the remedy ...

Stop taking remedy when symptoms clear. 4- If after taking a remedy there is an aggravation of symptoms, stop taking. When aggravation passes, do not take medication again. Repeat medication only if original symptoms recur. 5- Keep medicines in a cool, dark place, away from things that smell. 6- Medicines are best taken without food or drink. Dissolve the medicine on a clean tongue that is free from effects of tobacco or strongly flavoured toothpastes. 7- For more serious conditions, seek the advice of a qualified homeopathic physician. There is a fair number of individual homeopathich remedies available ranging from Aconite to Pulsatilla ...
