Advantages: No rent increases over the term I rented from them

Acorn Properties, based in Jesmond, are a major letting agent for properties around the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, managing a large number of flats and houses across some of the most popular areas to rent in the region. I was a tenant of Acorn's for five years, so I feel I am now in a position to offer a detailed, long-term perspective on the company and what it is really like to be one of their clients. Review of Acorn Properties, Newcastle upon Tyne

Carphone Warehouse: Use for browsing and that's it.

Advantages: Lots of mobiles to have a look at and read about the features.
Disadvantages: Dirty store, misleading staff, expensive mobiles.

Some aspects of my review may be based on Carphone Warehouse, Harlow of which there are 2 different stores. The Carphone Warehouse specialise in selling mobile phone, mobile broadband, laptops & netbooks. The store is quite small and has various mobile phones on offer from 3, O2, Orange, Virgin, T-Mobile & Vodafone. They have pay as you go options or pay monthly options. The models on display are normally dummy ones so that you can feel the weight of the phone and have a closer look at the screen and the buttons etc. They do have iPhones on display and these are actual models where you can browse some of the features and see if the phone has the features you would like. They normally have some podiums in the middle of the store which have laptops & netbooks on and these are normally available to have a play on and test out ...

Rid of the Rubbish and Recycle the Rest

Advantages: Cleaner environment
Disadvantages: None!

Do I recycle ? Yes Do I do it well ? No However I am trying my best and with each piece of recyclable rubbish I am learning. Recycling seems to be all the rage, the in thing, one of many things you will be penalised for if you refuse to do it. As speculation mounts regarding technology to monitor the contents of our bins perhaps its time to tackle the government head on and prove that we do not need a big brother society to make us recycle. The system is easy. Recycling at home: The symbol which accompanies this review guides the household on which items can or cannot be recycled. If they have the green arrows then put them in the green bin. I have a habit of believing that plastic is plastic and therefore it is worthy of my recycling bin, I am wrong.
