Advantages: Cheap, Reliable Disadvantages: Tesco Value
Value Broadband as well as electrical goods from blenders and whisks to kettles and irons. You often find that with these newly introduced Tesco Value services they are not as powerful or suffer signal shortages, etc. However, in my experience I have found the products to be highly effective and reliable.
*TESCO VALUE IR06 IRON*
This iron is of pretty standard shape and design, it most interesting feature is that the translucent blue section which makes the design seem much more contemporary. This feature also allows you to see the water level within the iron.
The water is poured into the iron by a small opening at the front of the iron.
There is a steam button at the front of the handle which will produce 33g of steam each minute if required. The iron can hold 130ml of water, so the iron can produce steam continusously for nearly 4 ...

I might just enjoy compiling this review, as one of my pet hates is ironing. In fact, with no help to me, instead of ironing the small amounts of clothes after washing and drying, I make a huge un-ironed 'clothes mountain' and then moan how much I have to do!
This is where the Breville Opus Swift Glide IR13 comes in. It's efficiency to deal with even the most creased of items, it helps me sail through my 'clothes mountain' in no time at all. (well, about an hour or so!)
There really are no disadvantages to write home about, apart from the fact that it is a little on the heavy side, otherwise all it's features are advantageous to the ironer.
I love the swift glide, as it makes it so much easier to press the clothes. They smooth out very easily with minimum effort, and due to it's powerful element which produces a fast heat up ...

Tesco Value is a range that seems to offer cheap basic goods that do the job as intended... and the Tesco Value IR06 Steam Iron offers just that! It is ridiculously cheap for an iron (costing under a fiver!) and works reasonably well.
It is a simple iron that doesn't boast many features and is not complicated in the slightest. It does the job but not as easily as with a better quality iron. I have had it for three years now and it still works fine.
It offers standard features of steam, spray, and temperature control. It looks neat but has a lot of plastic! It is very light for an iron and requires effort in removing stubborn creases - but it does work! Therefore it is likely to suit a user who doesn't iron too often.
Definitely good value for money and it does the job as intended! I would recommend it to a user who doesn't care so ...
