I wound not buy one of these players, we have had two players within the space of one month and they both developed faults. I would save your money and wait for the January sales.
The first one started making terrible really high pitched noises when being played and wounldn't play the discs.
The second one just stopped working and unfortunately stopped with one of our DVD's inside. We did however get this back from the shop after two weeks of waiting.
Okay we only paid £40 for the machine from Richie Sounds in Leeds ( a discount electrical store) they are a very well known retail outlet and usually very good value for money, although not in this instance. Alright you may be thinking £40 its secondhand, but both machines were completely sealed in new boxes and still in their original plastic wrappers. Maybe we were just unlucky!
The machines did everything you would expect a cheap DVD machine to do it had all the functions zoom, remote control, MP3/CD player.
We have now receiced a full refund for the player and would not even consider buy anything else of this make.
Don't get me wrong the look of the machine and when it did play was perfect for what we wanted it for, a cheap DVD player for the TV upstairs. But certainly wasn't worth the hastle. I suppose it like always you get what you pay for!
