...I have just bought an Acoustic Solutions AS628-LED DVD player from Argos and I could not believe the price only £22:99 for the quality of the product. There are other similar DVD player with more recognisable brand names that are priced at more than double the price of the Acoustic Solutions AS628-LED DVD. The player comes with all of the below. DVD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, JPEG Picture CD's playback compatibility. Dolby sound system. 2 channel stereo output. Supports region 2 coding. 1 SCART socket. Size (H) 3.8, (W) 36, (D) 25.5cm. Weight 1.9kg. If you are after a very affordable DVD player with very good qualities then you can't go wrong with this. ...Great DVD sound system. Cheap, easily connected (it took me 5 mins!) Comes with all the cables you will need (speaker terminall connections) and fully usable instructions which you can follow! (Thats rather rare these days) Comes with a A3 colour sheet explaining how to connect and positions in the room for the speakers. Speaker wires are colour coded so you can easily connect up. You can connect 1 5.1 (seperate channels) or 1 stereo input. It could do with maybe 1 more oudio input for another device, but thats probably just me! Great little kit, sub is very bassy and you can adjust the volume seperate to the other speakers. They are compact but the sound they prodduce is amazing quality. Would recomend... Read review

...I purchased this from Richer Sounds last week, and for £30 it is a very good player - can be changed into Multi-Region and also has optical function - does what any cheap DVD player will do and more..... It has just replaced another dvd player and this one is alot better. You can play vcd's on this as well. It has played every disk I have thrown at it. It does not come with a SCART lead but they are cheap enough to buy at the moment. This DVD player used to sell at over £100 - so it is a good deal. The only problem I have found with it is the size of the player. It is alot wider than the one I had before, but that is only a small complaint, everything else is alot better on this model. Very easy to understand instructions even a child could operate this in 2 seconds...... Read review
