Advantages: Buit in DVD player, Built in Digital Tuner, HD Ready, many more Disadvantages: No PC input
AcousticSolutions LCDW22DVD95F (AcousticSolutions)
I got my AcousticSolutions TV around a week ago, and ever since it is the best small sized television I have ever bought. It is an HD ready 720p TV, which is good for £150. The only bad thing about it is that there is no PC input. But you can buy special connectors for HDMI to DVI, so you can hook them up. I like the most about the TV is that there is a DVD player in it, The DVD player is good quality.
Whats in The AcousticSolutions LCDW22DVD95F box...
The unboxing of the AcousticSolutions TV is very simple there is, AcousticSolutions LCDW22DVD95F TV and a Remote. I was very annoyed about this unboxing as my other Dell 17" TV came with all the cables e.g. DVI cable, VGA cable, S-Video cable etc. There is also manuals in the box and there is two batteries in the remote ...
Advantages: Simple to use Disadvantages: Dodgy cd player and obnoxious smell
~~ Purchase ~~
I bought my SP122 at Argos over two years ago along with a compatible and matching AcousticSolutionsSP101 Amplifier, AcousticSolutionSP111 DAB/FM Tuner and a pair of AcousticSolution AVCS Column Stereo Speakers. I took advantage of a deal that was on offer at the time whereby if you bought the amp, tuner and CD player you would receive the speakers for free.
~~ Set up and Appearance ~~
This is an easy to use and uncomplicated CD unit. It's easy and straight forward to set up and attach to other units. I must admit though, it looked much better in the Argos catalogue than it does now that I have it set up in the living room. It's kind of plain in appearance, there are no fancy glowing lights. There is just one LCD panel that has a back light. The dimensions of the unit are 8cm(H), 43cm(W), 28.5cm(D) excluding ...
Advantages: Good quality, good value, attractive, multi-functional. Disadvantages: You get a pathetic wire for DAB/ Tuner antenna
I bought the AcousticSolutions Amplifier SP101 over a year ago. I bought it because I thought it was good value for money and took the risk not knowing what AcousticSolutions brand was like.
So, now I have bought the DAB part of it and I think it's excellent. It has never broken down on me and I would highly recommend this.
It is attractive but not overtly and looks and works as good as any Sony or expensive brand. Argos is pretty much the cheapest place to purchase it from as I did.
The amp's sound is rich and clear.
I have been told however, that the additional jukebox that mates with this is highly unreliable and not worth buying.
The unit supports Phono, Tuner, Tape/Aux, CD, DVD and DAB. I believe you can also plug a digital dukebox into it, also by AcousticSolutions.
The only down side being you get a ridiculously ...
