Splishy, splashy fun, without getting wet! Advantages: Bright and colourful, quite a few activities to stimulate and encourage motor skills. Disadvantages: Fiddly to fill and empty, stopper can get in the way I found this lovely activity splash mat online in the Boots sale. It was priced at £10.50 and made by the Early Learning Centre. Unfortunately, it is now sold out in Boots, but is still for sale on elc.co.uk - at full price though, £25. Better mobiles around Advantages: Nice colourful animals, no batteries needed Disadvantages: Not a great musical sound, looks a little cheap This is for the same mobile just with Jungle animals rather than Farmyard animals I had been looking for a mobile for my little boy.
