Thought about giving it a try?

Not really, I've not bought into the Activia TLC advert campaign, probably not helped by it being fronted by an ex Eastenders actress. (Always a mistake by advertising exec's as far as I am concerned).

Saw the cartons on the shelf while shopping and for a penny short of a quid for a 950 gram carton, I didn't think it was too bad value, especially when compared to the shrinking, and more expensive bottles of Yop.

Drink me

What to say about the carton? Picture of the yoghurt being poured on a bowl of cereal (?). A screw top lid uncovers a pull off seal for the spout.
I tend to just drink pouring yoghurt rather than use it for anything else. so just poured it into a glass.

It's consistency is thick, almost too thick, and just wonder about how much is going to be left in the carton when it runs out (probably up to a third of a glass), unless you leave it upturned overnight in the fridge over a glass like a bottle of ketchup in a student's flat - eking out the last dregs. If you eat Muller corners, it's almost as thick, and Muller is classed as a Yoghurt, not pouring.

Not a very strong odour, but the taste is what disappointed me. Very bland, and not much more taste than if it had been plain yoghurt. In fact, I think if the label hadn't stated strawberry, they may have been able to say it was raspberry, blackberry etc. I wouldn't have been able to tell.
If you like your yoghurt flavour subtle then fair enough, but I feel this is a bit beyond subtle.

Any benefits

If you eat a balanced diet then probably not much. The probiotic culture is supposed to aid digestion, help your immune system etc. It's not anything new though, and other countries, especially Nordic, have been on the probiotic scene for quite a few years.
Although the other benefit could be the low fat content (below 2%)

Drinkable

I suppose it is, It is very good quality, and great packaging, which you should expect from Danone: but I don't think I would buy it again. If the taste had been slightly stronger, then perhaps, but when compared against Lassi products (if you can get them) which have a much fuller flavour (but more fat also),
or especially the bottles of pouring yoghurt sold in Lidl - which are 0.9% fat, similar price and taste much better. (sorry I forget the actual brand name, I just tend to grab the Lidl ones if I see them).
The only advantage this product has is it's strong brand name and advertising.
