Advantages: Reduce dryness and feel more comfortable for longer Disadvantages: Very thin, so can be tricky to insert, bit pricey.
I never got on with anything other than soft lenses right from the start. I had some non-disposables, but they kept falling out and I lost them, so that got expensive.
So after a few years of giving up, I tried again, this time with daily disposables. Great! What a revelation!
I started with Acuvue and was very happy with the comfort. I used them for a couple of years, buying dailies from my optician via a contract. I could wear them all day (but not all evening as well), with no discomfort. I'd come home from work, take my suit off, put my specs on, happy at home!
The difficulty I found with Acuvue was the actual lenses were so thin that it was quite hard to get them in in the first place ,as they were so floppy. They do work better if you let them dry out on your finger tip before insertion in your eye. So after I said this ...
Advantages: Healthy for your eyes, clean, no need for solutions etc Disadvantages: You will need to take them out every night

I had been using Bausch&Lomb monthly disposable contactlenses for a long time.May be due to prolonged use of contactlenses,I developed dryness of the eyes redness of the eyes, with general intolerance to contactlenses. My optometrist suggested to opt for daily disposable lenses and recommended Johnson&Johnson 1dayAcuvue.
I bought the 90pack one, found it very tolerable,as the lenses were extremely thin,so thin so that you can hardly feel they are there in your eyes.I wear it for 10 hours and am comfortable with that.(I use lubricating eye drops for dry eyes)
Pros:-very comfortable ,provide moistness and freshness, inside out indicator given, handling is very easy, supposed to have UV protection too, affordable price
Cons:- could'nt find much; may be you will forget to take it off because it is that much comfortable!! ...
